His greatest desire, next to being with his wife and family is playing the piano. Both parents play. His father plays more Bach and his mother played more Beethoven. David only started seriously playing the piano over the past few years. However, with work and family commitments, time does not permit the practice he desires. Yet, David is thrilled to see his daughters excel in their piano lessons and performances. Heber Valley has some of the most outstanding piano teachers, as an association of teachers they put on a yearly Piano Festival for all of their students to test their skills and perform.
Malaguana, a favorite piece played by his Father.
David has a great interest in WWII Aircraft and has dreamed of

Skiing is my Winter Sport
Living in Heber City, one day each week starting in January to near the end of the ski season, Dave and other students who signed up were let out of school for a half a day to take ski lessons. He started at age 12. Somehow, he and his friends skipped the lessons and went skiing on our own and had the time of their lives.
